How it works: The program begins with Ignition’s comprehensive Agency Brand Assessment online survey, which serves both as an insight tool and a baseline for how the agency is positioned as well as how it performs in the important areas of product, people, promotion, process, and place. Using a combination of onsite visits and online sessions, Ignition works with both agency management and staff in four possible phases: discovery, definition, alignment and execution.

Agency Strategic Planning
What it is: Ignition’s Agency Strategic Planning program helps agencies define their strategic plan and align their organization with not just best practices, but what Ignition calls “next practices” – the things progressive agencies are doing to reinvent themselves successfully for the future.
How it works: This program typically begins with Ignition’s proprietary online survey, “Agency Leading Indicators of Success,” which identifies how the organization rates on the most critical success factors for agencies. Ignition will also conduct remote interviews of key agency management. Ignition then facilitates on onsite planning session, followed by online follow-up sessions.

Agency Value Creation and Compensation
What it is: Ignition works with agencies and other marketing organizations to help them learn how to create and capture more value. Creating more value means refining the organizations service offerings to maximize the areas where the agency provides high value and minimize the areas that are viewed as a commodity. Capturing more value is about transforming the way the agency prices its services to achieve maximum profit. Ignition helps agencies to move from the old model of selling hours to the new model of selling value, and to develop value-based pricing as a core competency of the agency.
How it works: This program begins with interviews of key agency managers and an online Agency Value Survey that assesses the agency’s current ability to both create and capture value through its product offerings and compensation practices. Ignition shares findings and insights with the agency management team to establish a clear starting point for the program. Ignition then teaches the new value-based compensation paradigm to its key managers through onsite and/or online workshops and consults on the development of new pricing and compensation practices for the agency.
